Happy No Hamgiving Day!

It was the day of Thanksgiving
that was almost a sham
because Old Uncle Kent
brought NOT the ham.
We all called him names
like "nerd, geek, and dork"
oh how we wanted
that great tasting pork.
He said he was sorry
and his face was red
as we all stuffed our faces
with turkey instead.
Thanks Uncle Kent
for showing us you're human
enjoy all the ham
that we KNOW you're consumin'.

We had a FEAST at Thanksgiving. Turkey, dressing, casseroles galore, rolls, pies, cakes, pumpkin bread, cheesecake...... But, no ham was to be found. It seems that "someone" forgot to bring the ham this year. 12 pounds of cooked and sliced ham were left behind in the refrigerator. But, we won't hold it against you Uncle Kent!!!! One sister tried to take the focus away from the ham incident by pushing in the knee of someone who was teasing her....who just happens to have very bad knees. (No, she had no idea) I think she succeded in turning the focus towards her. Her name was "mud" and she felt HORRIBLE. Otherwise, the day was GREAT. It's always fun to get together and visit with family and friends. (especially those that will keep my kids occupied for a while.) :) Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving too!

Anna Marie and her Brother

I TOOK IT TOO SOON!! It was all I could do to get Zachary to stand close enough to Anna Marie for a picture. He was already unhappy about that. So I counted to 3 but pushed the button early because I figured he would take off as soon as I was done counting. Instead, Anna Marie jumped over and planted a GREAT BIG KISS on his cheek. SO, I missed it!!! Then Zachary took off so upset that he was crying. He cried for at least 5 minutes. He was glad to know that I didn't get a picture of the kiss.

By the way, the song Anna Marie is singing in her school talent show is "God Did". That's pretty cool that they picked a Christian song to be in it. A piano student of mine is playing "Kum ba Yah" in it. It's a big deal. They sell tickets and have a big dinner for beforehand.

OREO

This is the newest addition to our family, Oreo. She will have been with us one year this month. She's a VERY HYPER Boston Terrier. It's like having a 5th kid. Last week She got to stay in Tulsa with the Grandparents and "Aunt Valerie" and "Cousins Bianca and Diesel". I guess she needs to meet ZEUS next.

What A Week!!!

Wow!! What a week we have had!! We had an AWESOME revival in Claremore. The theme was testimonies, and there was a different speaker each night. We heard some VERY POWERERFUL and life changing testimonies. Shawn and I did the music each night, with Anna Marie singing specials on two nights and Trinity singing with Anna Marie and Shawn on a night as well.

The church put us up in a hotel which actually turned out to be a lot of fun. I didn't know how 6 of us in a room would be but the kids absolutely loved it and didn't want to leave. During the day we would go to places like the Will Rogers museum, and the lake, and out to eat for lunch. Then after the revival service each night we would go to McDonalds and eat so the kids could wear themselves out on the playland.

I now have a camera phone so these are my first pictures to send to my computer. Trinity has been a VERY SICK girl these past two days. She's had a fever and throwing up. Last night, Friday, I called the doctor because she started complaining about her throat too. He said she needed to get some antibiotics in her right away and called it in for us. She keeps asking me to pray for her, and she doesn't understand why she doesn't feel better yet. Hopefully today she will. Please pray for her to be able to keep the medicine down and that she will get to feeling better. The first picture is Melody hugging on Trinity and saying "It okay, it okay" The second picture is Trinity playing the drums at our church before she got sick.

Fall Festival

Monday night we had a Fall Festival at our church. Trinity dressed up as Tinkerbell. Here she is with her Friend Haddie. The kids played games and got lots of candy. They also had popcorn and lemonade. And, as you can see, Minnie Mouse was there.
