Happy No Hamgiving Day!
It was the day of Thanksgiving
that was almost a sham
because Old Uncle Kent
brought NOT the ham.
We all called him names
like "nerd, geek, and dork"
oh how we wanted
that great tasting pork.
He said he was sorry
and his face was red
as we all stuffed our faces
with turkey instead.
Thanks Uncle Kent
for showing us you're human
enjoy all the ham
that we KNOW you're consumin'.
We had a FEAST at Thanksgiving. Turkey, dressing, casseroles galore, rolls, pies, cakes, pumpkin bread, cheesecake...... But, no ham was to be found. It seems that "someone" forgot to bring the ham this year. 12 pounds of cooked and sliced ham were left behind in the refrigerator. But, we won't hold it against you Uncle Kent!!!! One sister tried to take the focus away from the ham incident by pushing in the knee of someone who was teasing her....who just happens to have very bad knees. (No, she had no idea) I think she succeded in turning the focus towards her. Her name was "mud" and she felt HORRIBLE. Otherwise, the day was GREAT. It's always fun to get together and visit with family and friends. (especially those that will keep my kids occupied for a while.) :) Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving too!

Thanksgiving Day in Henryetta makes us aware of why we should be thankful to be blessed with such a large and wonderful family with such adorable kids! It was great - even without the ham! Mom

Yes, those are special times when we get together with so much family. It's always a lot of fun. It's fun to look back at the pictures from previous years, too.
