Christmas is coming

Christmas time is coming. Is everyone ready? My kids are going nuts. They want to open their presents SO badly. In fact, Melody has opened a couple that aren't even hers . We've been re-wrapping and taping up holes. You can't tell from the picture but the bottom half of the tree is missing ornaments. Melody has been taking off with those.

This Sunday will be the last of three musicals. I had a temperature of 102.5 while accompanying the adult musical last weekend. That was rough!Next Tuesday is the last day of school for the kids. Maybe we can relax a bit then.

I baked 24 loaves of pumpkin bread last night. Anna Marie helped with mixing the ingredients and putting on the icing. (which is made of sugar, brown sugar, powdered sugar, cool whip, and butter!!) Yummy! She took a loaf to her teacher today. I'll have to bake at least that many more to have enough for everyone for Christmas. (Especially since we tend to eat a good portion of them!) Renee
